About

A small practice

CVB Electronics is the engineering practice of Luka Panio, based in Abruzzo. It designs electronics for clients across Europe and builds a product range of its own.

Most electronics work does not need a department. It needs an engineer who understands both the hardware and the firmware, and who stays reachable from the first sketch to the production run.

Projects are taken on one or two at a time, so nothing sits in a queue waiting for attention. Boards are designed to be repaired and measured by whoever inherits them, with test points and debug headers on the first revision.

The work covers the full path: requirements, schematic, layout, manufacturing files, firmware, bring-up and documentation. Jobs that need specialists, such as full EMC certification or high-volume assembly, are coordinated with partners, and we say so up front.

The second half of the business is our own hardware: an HDMI to MIPI CSI-2 bridge, an antenna tracker controller and a network display client. These are manufactured in small runs and sold from this site. The work fills the gaps between client projects, and every board sold is supported by the engineer who drew it.

Work is invoiced from a registered Italian entity. EU business clients holding a valid VAT number are billed under the reverse-charge mechanism; clients outside the EU are invoiced without Italian VAT.
